  2. Thanks Raccoon Returns. Not too long ago, I read where Jeb Bush stated that neither his father, George H.W., nor Ronald Reagan, would be very comfortable with what the republican party has become these days.

    There was a time when the parties worked together and compromised for the good of the country as a whole. Neither got everything thing they wanted, but they worked together and actually got things done. That all changed with mid-term elections of 2010 which ushered in the Tea Party. Since then, its been nothing but partisan gridlock, non stop battles over major things and trivial things. Nothing has gotten done. Meanwhile, the country is falling apart.

    The country burns while partisan congress fiddles.

    And you're right - it is about Obama. He's done some good thing, and he's made his mistakes. I think he could do a lot more - good things - if he wasnt facing such an obstructionist congress. They all need to work together, but thats not happening anymore. And the country pays the price for that.

  6. Unfortunately, the more sensible republicans are forced to listen to you, and forced to accommodate you now and then. They have to, lest you go into your Teabuzzard rants and rages and threaten to shut the government down again, and push us into a federal default, and God only knows what else. Even Boehner cant control the Tea Party. The republican party is at war with themselves, and the majority of the electorate, much of which is due to Teatard obstructionist politics. I doubt if your approval rating is in the mid 20%, but its just enough where they have deal with you. And the country pays heavily for your narrow minded, "gotta have my way" intrasigence.

That could plunge the country, and indeed much of the world, into a severe depression, the likes of which we haven't seen since the 30s. You don't even want to go there. And you are not "taking back" America. Most of you are bunch of economically illiterate fools who know very little about anything.
