- His dad lied and impersonated a police officer from another police force and called a Private Investigator and planted information about a possible serial killer to take the focus off of his son. That PI then wrote an article about that information. The PI later revoked his findings when he figured out the information was full of holes and called in by the father when he had the phone traced to his current police station. (calling while on duty)

- What a bunch of ignorant, sarcastic comments. You must be a joy to be around. To insinuate that this happened to her because she was out at 1:30 am is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. If you knew anything about this family, you would never have made such a heartless, cruel statement. Someone who is 18 years old is a legal adult. They can vote, serve in the military and live on their own. Most 18 year olds are off at school and believe me, very rarely are they home at 1:30. This dirtbag has not confessed to the crime because he is gutless and was never taught to stand up and be a man.

- I cannot believe what is happening in this country. When did the word illegal change its definition? I have noticed more and more that illegal immigrants are being referred to as "undocumented" instead of illegal. Give me a break! Is that supposed to make this bitter pill easier to swallow? Why are all politicians making everything so easy and attainable for those who BREAK THE LAW??? I am all for immigration, but follow the proper channels. Don't sneak in and then expect us to provide you with mortgage help, food stamps, and now, apparently, someone to teach your child to speak English. My daughter just went to get her learner's permit last month and the strict rules the BMV had on proving residency and legal status had us jumping through hoops, but is necessary. What is going to happen now? Those of us here legally have to provide 15 forms of proof, but if you are here illegally, well, there are no rules for you so here you go. I have always been a supporter of Mrvan. Our families grew up in the same town and I attended school with his kids. But this is just unacceptable. If this goes through, Mrvan will have lost my vote forever.

- Anyone who was at the JV game today knows exactly who wrote this post. The woman who gloated and referenced karma when one of our LC players got hurt. You would think once you had a chance to think about your comments today you would be embarrassed about them, but I guess someone who wishes harm to a child isn't right to begin with. (as you can see from the maturity level in your post) I thought both teams played great and all should be proud. Everyone else was cheering for their respective teams, hoping for a win. I am not sure why this is considered loud and obnoxious. It's a shame this woman took it to such a dark place today and then brought it to the message boards. Shame on you.

- Really? That's why people join gangs? What kinds of "jobs" do gangs hire them to do? Drug running? Getaway driver? Puh-leeze. People join gangs because they see a flash of easy cash without doing any hard work. Its all about the bling. You get ahead in life by staying in school, working hard, and keeping your nose clean. There is nothing wrong with working at McDonald's or Burger King, but these kids see that as beneath them.

- I am assuming that most of the parents opposed to earlier start dates are those whose children play travel ball or are part of an all-star team that plays into August. The time off for summer is the same, not sure why they feel their summers are being cut short. I like an earlier start date, let the kids out earlier. Also, for any parent who has a child that will play sports for LC in high school, you will have no summer irregardless of when school starts. They take sports VERY seriously and work outs start the week after school lets out and goes all summer. Football players have a week or two off in July and thats it. You don't see a group being started by those parents to take back their summers. It is a choice being made by the child to play football and what it takes to play. These parents need to organize their childrens schedules better throughout the summer, and if they need to give something up, then so be it. Please don't speak on behalf of me and the rest of the school system by stating we need a later start date.

- Why is everyone arguing with "salvo"? This person is obviously a member of the accused's family. Why else would they feel the need to comment on every single person who has a post against him? The time wasted on here arguing because they feel he is getting a bad rap is not being bought by anyone. Its a comment page, nothing else. People come here to voice their opinions. Salvo's need to counter every remark is a little over the top. If they would let people voice their opinion and be done with it, the posts probably would have maxed out at 20. But instead, salvo feels the need to combat everything and cut others down for either believing what they read, or sharing their own conclusion. Maybe that family should take lessons in acting with class from the Bach family.

- Why do you repeatedly comment that only someone with a low IQ or someone mentally challenged would place the body where it was found? What does someone's IQ have to do with where they found her? Obviously, the person who did this was not in their right mind to be able to do something so horrible and cowardly. Why do you think the defense wants the dog evidence thrown out? Because her scent was tracked from his residence to her final resting place. Not from her car to her resting place, from HIS former residence. I think that is some of the most damning evidence they have. And before you ask your go to question, no I wasn't there. This is my opinion. One I am entitled to.
