- At least Michigan City is attempting to make the entrances into the city look better, unlike Hammond which famous celebs have called "trashy" and "Ghetto" after performances at Horseshoe Casino. Although I do admit, the graffiti art on trashcans is a nice touch near the entrance to the Casino though, gotta love Hammond's version or "art" on that one.

- How many hours they actually work? Funny, but I know a few of them HAVE ACTUAL JOBS, which more than makes up for the low pay they make as elected officials. Here is an idea for them poorly paid elected officials....DO NOT RUN FOR A LOW PAYING OFFICE THEN. Oh wait, then they would lose their fiefdoms they have going.

- Come on, its Lake County, where breaking the law is common. You honestly expect any elected official or judge in Lake County to follow the law? Mary Beth Bonaventura is not innocent in this either. She wants her buddy to get the position, the lake county way

- A politician lied to the public? say it aint so. I always thought politicians were honest outstanding citizens who look out for the betterment of everyone, and here I am now being told that they lie, cheat and steal to better themselves. Oh my.

- I love it. They don't want the railroad to buy it, but they don;t have the money to stop it. This is awesome. I can't wait to see those rail cars all lined up with their pretty graffiti from the local kids

- But give the Camelot Coalition time, they will want to extend it through that interchange and put a roundabout on the off ramp and also on US 30, and then the other 2 off ramps. Don't you know, the Camelot Coalition knows whats best for everyone in Porter County. And why do they care, its paid for with grants and fed money, not their rainy day fund that they can tout they have and never spend

- "People might not be sure of their location after an accident. And that poses a problem," Zormier said. <-- yeah because those 911 operators always ask for a zipcode when you dial 911. Honestly, if you call emergency services, they ask for the location, and if you tell them US 30 and Mississippi, they will know what city you are in. I understand why they want it to be all one zipcode, but to say public safety is the biggest reason is a joke

- Valpo has that nice fat rainy day fund, USE IT instead of leeching off the state and federal Govt. I find it laughable that the Camelot coalition are all members of a certain party, who claims that they believe in a SMALLER FEDERAL FOOTPRINT in projects is better, yet the coalition in Camelot feels the opposite.
