- I was a juror in Judge Lozano's courtroom back in November of 2009. The trial lasted 10 work days, so I became accustomed to Lozano's behavior and tendencies. On several occasions, several of us jurors would go back into the break room and discuss how we thought the judge looked and acted very tired and even seemed very distant on occasion. In fact, I'm fairly certain everyone in the courtroom caught him sleeping once. I can't remember if it was the prosecutor's or defense attorney's, but someone had asked the judge a question. After a long, pregnant moment w/ no response, I turned to look at Lozano only to see him picking his head up as if he had slumped a little and indeed fallen asleep. He asked the attorney to repeat his question and on we went. Honestly though, I think everyone in the room knew what had happened. zzzzzzzz:) Somewhere throughout those two weeks, he did mention to us that he was a diabetic... Anyhow.

- I am disappointed whenever I hear about low turnouts for voting. I appreciate the right that I have here in America to vote. @ Bergie and Dark Cloud... stop whining. If you don't like something, then go do something about it.
