  1. Not bad pay. I hope they screen them well!

  2. Changes are coming! With more than 32 years in the healthcare business, here's my take: There will be winners and losers. If you qualify for a federal subsidy (based on income), you may be able to find affordable healthcare coverage.

Otherwise, it will be a challenge but there may be available options both inside and outside of the Exchange. We'll be ready. It's hard to believe that October, when Open Enrollment begins, is almost here.

  3. The "Affordable Care Act" may not be so affordable! Federal subsidies could substantially reduce your rates, depending on your adjusted gross income. Of course, family income above $96,000 will not qualify for any help.

The four types of available plans will be Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum and each one, naturally will have a different level of cot and benefit. It should be very interesting!

  4. First they were "Exchanges" and now they are "Market Places." If only they were affordable!

  5. $1 billion leaving the area is significant. It would be nice to retain just a portion of that. Re Affordable Care Act...don't expect too much help. If you're income is low, you'll be rewarded with tax credits. But high income earners will be shocked to see how high their rates become. EH

  6. The proof is in the pudding and the Affordable Care Act (so far) has not resulted in the hope and change we thought was coming. I assume this will be the same. But time will tell!
