What a laugh. Parks being more important than infrastructure? When our crappy bridges collapse, due to duck tape and popsicle stick fixes, whats the state to do then? FOOLS!

A Surplus of money? Well, how come Cline Avenue hasnt been fixed yet? A Surplus of money? Well, how come Indiana can't fulfill their obligations to foster and adopted children? A surplus of money? Well, put it to good use. Stop leaving it to draw interest, and lining our worthless politicians pockets with it.

(funny, reserves topping 10 percent of spending trigger an automatic taxpayer refund, but you won't get it until tax time when they can rape you from it.)

Seems to me that this bridge was initially paid for by the taxpayers. Since the state will rebuild, and charge tolls, it only seems right that the state should take those tolls and distribute them among the people to pay them back for the original shoddy construction, inconvienience due to the closing, and the privatization of public infrastructure.

The more we allow the state and government to take, the less we have. Stand up and be vocal!
