I would have to agree! They along with their supporters during the trial never showed an ounce of compassion. The treated it like a family reunion the only thing missing was the camera for the family portraits. From beginning to end they acted cold-hearted and unfeeling. They are now beginning to see what karma brings you. I would hope they all look back on their behavior and feel some sense of remorse for the way they treated the Bach family. Cold and heartless must be a family trait.

I have tried to not resort to the level of idiocy thse "people" display but at some point ENOUGH!! Quit blaming everyone else for the conviction, a jury of his peers reviewed the evidence and ALL 12 of them came to the same conclusion, GUILTY!! This is real life not a TV show go review other cases and see how similiar the results are. Instead of wasting your time defending him learn to deal with the fact that he will be in jail for at least 30 years. You should be thankful that at least you can see and talk to him, the Bach's will NEVER have that chance again. If hearing your mouths running and having to see your comments wasn;t bad enough the reprehensible way you acted both in the courtroom and outside the courthouse is unforgivable, you may believe in his innocence but what you simple-minded fools seem to hve forgotten is the murder of a beautiful young girl. Her family deserved better than any of you showed them, this may have been a joke to all of you with your comments and your laughing but it is VERY real to them. How dare you behave like a bunch of unfeeling animals!! You all wnat to quote the bible and talk about God's in charge, well I hope one day when you stand before God to answer for your life that you have a good explanation to give for the way you have behaved!!

I'm sure Amanda's family hates that their daughter is dead. However they are not on facebook and the Times website attacking everyonwe who has a different opinion from theirs. They are not standing up in court screaming and cussing or acting like it's a family reunion during the trial. Maybe some of the disdain that Dustin's family is receiving is due to the fact of how they act. And also if your such good friends with Jamie where has she been all his life? Not raising him not showing him emotional or financial support, both of which are what you do when you are a parent. She's seen more of him during the trial than she has in the last 10 years. And she's so distraut and on his side but yet she finds the time and money to travel to Florida and go get a couple new tattoos. Seriously, but where was she when he needed a mother? Ask Dustn how his relationship was with her and I'm sure you will get a much different answer than the one she will give you.

What about this, the neighbor heard gunshots before the other neighbor heard voices. Maybe the gunshots are what woke her up and she just didn't realize what she heard. And the other neighbor is far enough away that she would not have heard the voices.

Maybe this is the reason Dustin is in this mess today. Never accountable always covered for and no consequences for his actions. The jury has been instructed not to read the papers, if your're worried about the bias from social media point the finger at his supporters, who felt the need to continually comment on the articles written here and on FB. They had a comment for everything posted and argued with anyone who had a different opinion. As for counting objections sustained and overruled consider that the defense had no basis for their objections but had to continually offer it to try and have some of the testomony stopped because they have no valid defense other than because we said he didn't do it. While his supporters want us to believe that every policeman and witness and the whole Porter County Prosecutors office is lying we are supposed to believe that his 11 witnesses are all telling the truth, 3 of which are his family who couldn't recall anything they said when asked by the prosection but suddenly had their memories return when it was the defense's turn. Or we could take the word of the "ex-girlfriend" who had the nerve to show up in her orange hoodie.

Here's an answer for your DNA comment from the Chesteerton Tribune which according to the defense is gospel.
The swab that was taken from underneath Bach’s left breast contained four out of 18 DNA strands that were not hers and could have come from another or more persons. When asked about the FBI report mentioning that the DNA came from an “unknown female,” LaSalle said it is possible they could have come from a male.

The FBI determined the DNA came from that of an X-chromosome which both males and females possess, LaSalle said. There was no trace of DNA from a Y-chromosome, that is exclusive to males, from the swab, LaSalle said. She testified that she “couldn’t say with 100 percent certainty that it is female DNA” because “such a small amount of cells” were found.

Now get to hear how everyone who has testified this far has lied, except of course for Dustin's parents, uncle and brother, they told the complete truth. He has the nerve to sit there and shake his head no when his inmate buddy testified. How do you think Amanda's parents felt while they sat there and listened to what you did to their baby girl and had to look at the pictures. Your arrogance is going to be the nail in your coffin.

Very good question, also this is an update from the Post Tribune.
Barnes also raised the possibility of yet another suspect, a young woman who called herself McCowan’s best friend and allegedly said she didn’t care that Bach was dead. The woman, who has not yet been called as a witness is this the other voice? also sent McCowan a text at 1:37 p.m. on Sept. 17, 2011, just before searchers found Bach’s body.She stated that she wouldn’t let them do anything to her “brother” and would protect him. He replied, “I didn’t do anything. I’m good.”

Next Polarek asked if there was any thought to staying behind to look for Bach, to which Walbright replied, “I told him I don’t think we should go.”
“We thought we should stay (home), but (McCowan) thought there was nothing any one of us could do,” Walbright said.
Now before you ask I believe Dustin killed her and his father helped him cover it up. But don't you think the police have questioned Jordan Walbright and the others? They obviously had access to her phone to get the texts sent from Dustin.

Bolde said she was Bach’s best friend, although they didn’t talk as much when Bolde began a physical relationship with McCowan.

Chesterton Tribune:
Defense attorney Nick Barnes, in his cross-examination, began by asking Bolde if she gets very emotional, to which she nodded yes.
Barnes then asked Bolde if she was “more than just friends” with McCowan. She responded they had started a physical relationship a few weeks before Bach’s death but they were not exclusive.
“Did this cause a little bit of a rift between you and Amanda?”
“We weren’t talking to each other or hanging out as much,” she said and added that her budding relationship with McCowan remained unspoken to Bach in order to sustain their friendship.
