- Honestly people, do your research on this bakery before you purchase anything from here. The reviews speak for themselves. The kolaches, brownies, and cookies are always hard as a rock. They might look pretty, but they don't throw anything out that is stale, I ate some Kolache's in there after I purchased them and they were as hard as a rock, I told the woman and she could careless, didn't offer me a refund or anything else, they have poor customer service rapport - they could careless about pleasing the customer if they are unhappy. My daughter purchased a cake from them for her daughter's birthday and it was absolutely horrible, nothing she asked for at the consultation and dry, we had some guests that couldn't eat frosting and when they pulled back their frosting the cake was burnt. We asked for buttercream, we got whipped cream, and didn't realize this until after the cake had been sitting out all day. I've gone to two weddings where both couples were very unhappy with the cakes Branya's delivered. They probably went to the newspaper for free advertising, but most of the people that have went here, want them out of St. John. So many people were unhappy with them when they were on groupon, that they can't advertise through groupon anymore. We want a bakery that cares. Skip this place for your special day.
