- It really makes me mad when people say that Union workers are lazy, blah blah blah. My husband lost his job along with all these other people yesterday and he DIDNT deserve it at all. The teamsters agreed to the pay cut yet people who dont know their facts are blaming the Teamsters. We much rather would have taken the pay cut and benefit increases than him be without a job. Thanks to all those uneducated Bakers union workers (who were misinformed by their union). The company I work for raises our insurance premiums EVERY year, and there are not to many companies that contribute much to pensions anymore. I hope the workers who chose not to strike are able to find work and to the ones who did, I hope you can move in with your union head that talked you into a stupid move because there will be no benefits out there for you! Good luck to all the hard working Teamsters out there who are now looking for work.
