  1. IU gets exposed by a simple Zone defense.

I was a bit disappointed to see that IU did not adjust. Creen, what did you prepare for in the last week ? One week to review their zone/tendencies should have helped, shouldn't it ?
The fact that Syracuse has bigger players, especially guard on guard, didn't help.

Zoeller looked waaay overmatched inside with no help. Yoggie and his constant bouce pass blow up turnovers. Huls was nullified with no three pointers. Watford, Olidipo and Sheehy were marginal at best. Come on guys, you weren't playing Corn Cob High.

It's possible IU reads its press too much and thought this would be a cake walk.

Let's hope Creen can recruit some "big and physical " players for the inside game for the near future. Overall the 2012-13 season was a big step forward where IU belongs. IU IS Indiana Basketball.

As far as the pretenders at Purdue, they look to be third rate for the future, where they belong.

  2. IU should have lost against Temple

    Good luck against the Orangemen

Observations from yesterdays game (and the 2012-13 season):

Zoeller and Watford are NOT physical enough under the basket (not enough muscle)
Elston is the most physical player they have
IU lately, rarely gets offensive rebounds
    inside game is lacking
They rely on the outside shot too much
Olidippo is a great defensive player, makes bonehead showboat moves at times
Although Huls is an emotional leader and makes the three, quit looking your're going to cry
Yoggie and his bounce pass blow ups.. bench him until he can pass the ball w/out losing it
Sheehy is like a loose cannon...never know what your going to get from him
    Creen OVER substitutes his players

  4. Hmmm.... second story on this place in about 2 months.
They must be lagging in customer attendance.

By the way Jak is pronounced Jaack.
Jake, with an E on the end is pronounced, Jayke.

If they can't even spell the name of the place right, how are they going to run it successfully?

  6. "Lake Central High School already has seen a major change in the mascot since the 1990s because of such inappropriate use of the Indian symbol such as costumes, war paint, chants and feather headdresses, Tobias said".

Just another glaring example of the pussification of America. The pc liberals, starting with slick willy and Hillary and moving forward have really screwed this country up.

In the good ole' days there was no mascot name changing. White is white, black is black, NO MLK day, NO hyphenated last names for women. Oh yeh, want to see the crime rate drop drastically, make the death penalty and public execution mandatory. The state of Illinois and crook county is a glaring example of that.

Based on America's continuing social decline, by the year 2025, China will be top dog in the world. Remember NAFTA and that giant sucking sound? All those jobs are over there and our middle class was abandoned by the politicians and Corp. guru's like Jack Welch. It all ties together. Amerca's lack of vision and limp leadership are to blame. For those of you that actually were dumb enough to have children in the last 25 years, keep on singing lollipops and rainbows.
