Suit filed by LCRBDC to obtain easement on Southmoor Property 2008. Resident disagrees with ACOE's plans/design. October 2008 Southmoor Resident fights in court against ACOE for work to be done behind home. Judgement awarded to LCRBDC for Southmoor Easement because of Burke Engineering Study that concludes it must be a continuous line of protection to the state line. Summer 2012 Burke reverses study from 2008. ANOTHER study ordered for Burke to come up with an alternative plan. 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012. 5 YEARS.......still waiting......plans keep changing, studies keep being done and people wondered why the fight.........it's a long wait Laurie.........the thought of the ACOE completing work on Southmoor Property FRIGHTENING!!!!!
