- yes, i'm currently going to group therapy & its starting to help alot, thank you very much. This was a huge eye opener for me, I'm moving on & hopefully I will get healthier & find a better way to cope with things. I'm hangin' in there (:

- I am one of the teens who took part in this reckless endangerment Friday morning. Yes, we did know what we were doing. We were trying to get high. We had done this before & nothing bad had happened so we decided to do it again. The first time i had taken the pills was wednesday. this time i had only taken 5. I felt numb & my heart was beating very fast. I was gone & i liked that feeling. My friends & I decide to ditch school again friday & do the same thing. So we left the school about 5 minutes before the bell rang. We took one of my friends sisters car & drove to a Walgreens in Highland indiana. We then stole about 7 packs of pills. When we were done, one of our friends who was still in the school had texted another girl that i was with & said that the officer in our school came to get one of us from class but we werent there. We then decided to go back to the school & just say we were tardy & that we were thinking about ditching school but then we thought eh better not. Thats exactly what we told the secretary at the school too. she just gave us a pass & told us that 2nd period was about to start. By this time me & one of the other girls had already taken 10 of these pills. We didnt think anything was wrong because we still felt fine. I went to English and then i felt like i was going to vomit. Next thing i know I'm being woken up because i had passed out on the bathroom floor. I couldnt see very well & my body was numb so i couldnt walk either. The girl helped me to the nurses office & then i remember being questioned. I guess my other friend started having a reaction too. She was vomitting. The school new something was up so they called our parents. My mom came & she had to sign a release form because i needed to be transferred to the ER at Community Hospital immediately. The ambulance came and picked me up & i was still out of it. At this point, my oxygen level was very low & my heart rate was up & down. I wasn't stable. I got admitted to the ER at around 10 a.m & i was finally released by 4:30 p.m.. The other girls who were with me had also been taken to the ER. We are now suspended from school for 10 days and waiting on our expullsion letters to come in the mail. What my friends and I did that day was pure stupidity & very dangerous. I'm only 14 years old & a freshman. I could have died that day if that girl had not found me. I realize what i did was a huge mistake and i'm going to straighten myself out very quickly. I think i can speak for all of the girls when i say that. This was a lesson learned.
