- Obviously, as I have found out, some pro-lifers just don't have the capacity to form a civil debate. That's a shame. Unfortunately it always leads to the God argument. I'm not even touching that one more than I did in my previous comment. Then there's the nasty name calling. Totally useless. I am actually thinking of deleting my Times account, as I have found very little intelligent/civil life here. I honestly question the reasoning why the Times even has the comment option. My only conclusion is that it is to stir up people's emotions, create controversy, and keep them coming back. I just don't know if I want to be a part of this any longer.

- Not all people believe in the same God, or even that God exists. Some faiths believe in multiple Gods. Does that make them wrong? Christianity is not the only way, surfrider. Some feel that those who believe in any God are the ignorant ones. Are they right or wrong? Me, I follow science with the belief that maybe.....just maybe, there is a great creator behind it all. Is it true......I just don't know.

- Zygotes are zygotes. Babies are babies. I said that I felt better stopping before fertilization(zygote) took place. Calm yourself. I do have a heart and I have kids too. You obviously can't debate without being nasty. Good day, maam.

- Again with the nasty name calling.

- Your rebuttal is not relevant to what I said. I said that the morning after pill, in my eyes, is acceptable for cases of rape. I never brought statistics into it, and not knowing them off hand, I won't dispute them. Any stage? I was the one who said that the morning after pill had a chance of stopping fertilization. No, I'm not o.k. with killing at any stage, but I'm much more o.k. in cases of rape when it can be caught before or at least during the zygote stage and not after. That's my stance and I will not defend it anymore. You say I need to change my heart and not my brain? We're talking zygotes and babies here in rape cases. How dare you question my heart? Good day.

- Aww, c'mon. Just because I don't care for your comments doesn't mean we can't be friends. I disagree with many of my friends on all sorts of subjects. Keeps things interesting. ; P

- How is it fair to the woman who was raped? I'm sorry, but a morning after pill for a woman who was raped is acceptable to me. The morning after pill at least has a chance of stopping fertilization. I'm not saying always, as fertilization can take anywhere from an hour or less up to a few days from what I read, but there is still a chance of catching it before the zygote stage.

- It's sad when people can't express a difference of opinion without being nasty. I don't agree with Hannah myself, but idiotic comparisons and name calling isn't going to help either side state their case. She has just as much of a right to write to the Times and express her opinion as we do to comment. Personally, I think there are circumstances where early term abortion is completely acceptable, such as medical reasons and, of course, rape cases. No woman should have to carry a baby that was conceived against her will. There's no argument that pro-lifer's will ever come up with that will change my mind on that.
