- Just curious..... If any of you were on a jury say , in a murder case where a man murdered a pregnant woman and there were two counts of murder charges against him, would you vote for both charges of murder? And why? If after all, it is only a fetus, there is only one life that has been taken. The living woman's. It can't be both ways in this country where we fight for an unborn life in the courts and also actively take just a fetus through the system. It is maddening to me how contrary the belief systems are because the truth is, if one of your own was pregnant and was murdered by a crazy boyfriend/husband/whatever, you'd want to see justice for the child that wasn't able to speak for itself in the womb. Yet in that same said trial, the murderer insisted she was planning on getting an abortion, who could argue. You'd walk away with a heaviness in your heart and the knowledge that justice skipped your family that day. If you're going to choose to believe in something, anything, make sure the foundation of it stands. Who of any of us has a "right" to anything? And really where does that idea come from? Because truth be told, it's out if everyone's hands, whether by thief, or storm, or accident, or injustices everywhere, your supposed "rights" could be lost rather quickly . Just a thought.....
