- my sincere condolences to the Gebauer family. my prayers go out to both families. As we have seen in many instances of media and gossip, We should know all the facts before casting judgement as to what exactly happened. The guy you refer to "justmyopinion" is David Hatfield and he also has a family and is a good guy, and is very well respected. This is totally out of his character. He made an awful mistake that he will be paying for the rest of his life. But please know your facts: He didn't run and hide as you assume. He doesn't remember anything that happened. And he does have a medical condition of memory loss from a brain bleed. And no he should not have been in a car after drinking no matter what the circumstance. But until you or anyone else can walk with your head held high and tell me or anyone else that you are perfect and never done anything wrong in your life, you shouldn't cast judgement. These are two families that lives are changed forever and our prayers to both of them should be 1st and formost.
