  2. Either you are the parent of the unruly chap or you need to get a grip. From the story, and your perspective, it sounds like you believe that the teacher should be ordered around by the unruly, disrespectful kids. You are assuming a lot.

  3. Honeybee, I think you are a bit out of touch. So, kids get to rule the roost, eh? They can scream at the teacher and order the teacher to leave? Any kid who feels right in screaming at a teacher to leave the bathroom, is also a kid who likely was insubordinate to the teacher attempting to get the kid out of the bathroom. The teacher is in charge, not the kid, did you forget that?

    I don't even feel that you can trust a kid (to tell the truth about a red mark and how it got there) when he and his buddies felt it was just to yell at the teacher who is there to supervise them. What nerve! If kids think that they are the authority and teachers need to step back in order to prevent getting arrested, this world is headed in a very negative direction and quick.

  4. Kudos to Merilee Frey, definitely a hard thing to have to do, but necessary nonetheless. Obviously a good quality to possess as coroner, the willingness to do things that may not be the popular approach, or could be subject of intense scrutiny, but the willingness to stand up for what is right.

    What a disappointment her daughter is. Time to get into rehab, get away from her friend Storie and start over. There is still time, before she winds up being one of the cases that her mom needs to oversee. GET HELP!

  5. Does anyone have an opinion about who the female voice was that said, "I can't believe this is happening."? Do you believe it was Amanda's or do you believe, perhaps, that it was Dustin's very close female friend and, perhaps Amanda had been injured and was fallen outside of the neighbor's home while the female friend was expressing shock over what was going on... just wondering.

  6. Very well said. Hearts are broken for Amanda and her family. Also, as a parent, I know Dustin's mom and dad had such great hopes and aspirations for their family when they began it a few decades ago. Never would they believe that this would be what would become of them and their son. I do not know them but I do know, as a parent, that Dustin's dad was likely put in the type of position that no parent would ever want to be put in, but he was likely put there. We try so hard to protect our children and never would anticipate finding ourselves faced with the dire need to protect or the contrary need to bring justice swiftly against our flesh and blood. I feel heartbroken for what his dad likely felt as a father, and then as a police officer. He never would have wished this upon himself. You can visualize him as a monster, but I just visualize him as a man put in the very worst situation and not having a good choice either way with which to proceed.

    God bless Amanda's family, God bless Justin's family.

  10. lol... "boy, aren't you a prize" was directed to Karenj - you and I (fast' Ed) posted at the same time so it looked as though I was responding to you. In reality, I was responding to her.

    I do think that the guy who bought it for $43 should not take this from her. Man. What kind of world do we live in? What kind of person would feel entitled to take away a lady's home for $43. And, yes, it likely now does involve more money however, the only reason that there are legal or court fees is because this man (who bought this for $43) insisted on getting her home for $43 and is insisting on enforcing this very unfair thing. Once he became informed about the oversight he should not have been an opportunist and that is exactly why he has spent more than $43... because he is being a heartless opportunist.
