I recently came back to the area and decided to reinvest my child's future to the Gary school system because I was a positive product of that school system. I enrolled my son at Roosevelt due to the fact that it was a state takeover in effect and figured that things would flow as well as they could. I despise that the school is closed for maintenance issues. The school was cold the day I enrolled my son in classes two weeks ago. The heat has been a problem at that school before it became public knowledge. All the corporation has to do with that school is maintain the building. If you can't manage a building, how do you ever expect to manage the children? Time to stop playing games. There are more important things at stake here.
