I wonder how many mattresses Pleasant Township Trustee Jean Oehlman in southeast Porter County dishes out. Probably not many with an annual budget of $15,000. I guess Pleasant township doesn't have the same kind of people that Calumet township does.

Really, what difference does it make? Griffith has a republican majority on the town council. There is a Republican super majority in the state senate and house, a Republican governor, TWO Republican sponsors of House Bill 1585. Yet the whole deal goes down the toilet in favor of Gary. So, what difference does it make?

Well said. Let's have a vote. Of course Gary will vote for county income tax, it would be like asking an Amish how they feel about the price of gas.
