I don't understand this.

"The shirt matched one that McCowan was wearing when arrested Sept. 17 in color, left front pocket, heavier cloth than most T-shirts and double stitching, Porter County Sheriff Detective Lt. William Young testified Monday."

Clearly, it wasn't the shirt that McCowan was wearing because that one was confiscated when he was arrested. So, this shirt, that "matched" one he was wearing seems to hold no significance. Unless I'm missing something. Anyone could have purchased the same shirt at Kohl's (or wherever it was purchased) or if it was a Wheeler shirt, it could have been anyone in the school.
