- I will tell you that services here in Indianapolis are no better! We have tried wrap around services for years with my son Ian, age 15 now. Took us 12 years to get on the Autism waiver. Ian was born with Autism and received his diagnosis at age 2. The success I have had with services has been horrible at best! I have tried multiple companies that would lie to us or the people they would send out, needed a caregiver themselves. We went through at least 6 hospitalizations and now no one will take him, because he has Autism. They have said this to me! He had become so physically abusive to me this last Christmas DCS stepped in and offered to make him a CHINS 1. When I asked why they would not do a CHINS 6, I was told they don't do them in the county we live in. A CHINS 1 is for the criteria of abuse or neglect, which none of this had happened. A CHINS 6 lays no blame on the parent. Basically the only hope I had was to go this route due to his size and PA & VA were progressing to a point I was in danger. Well he is in a very well known facility in the Indy area and they overlooked he was on Paxil when he got there and abruptly took him off, found this out a month later when I was discussing his increased depression with the Psychiatrist that comes monthly, too find out that it was overlooked he was on it when he came there from an acute facility in Indiana, that also had messed up his meds. The staff there is pathetic, he has lost 10 pounds in 3.5 weeks because he is not eating due to his sensory issues. I tried to get it instituted where he could have a PB sand. If he refused to eat the main course. I guess that is asking too much of the staff because I have been trying to get it done for 3 weeks and they still aren't doing it. So basically he is starving, He is not bathing, today I saw him and he had the same clothes on from 2 days ago, I got to finally see his room, it was dirty and at least 1/2 to 2/3 of his clothes are missing. I keep being told that they are taking care of situations and nothing gets done! I have been battling the mental health system in Indiana for 15 years, and it is getting worse and worse. I am meeting with the facility where he is at this week and they are either going to get some things changed or I will have to go to court to tell the judge what is going on and try to get him out of there! Then once he is I will go to the news media and let them know exactly what is going on at this facility. Shutting it down will not be a problem in my eyes! I have been my son's greatest advocate! It is it too much to ask for some qualified help? Evidentally so in Indiana!

- I have known the Munsey family for close to 30 years. At least 25 years ago I made the statement that Steve was a snake and a thief! Guess I was right! At the time I was told that I was being judgmental! Maybe I had an insight to the real Steve Munsey and his family?? I will have to say that his parents Mr & Mrs Frank Munsey, started the church, and I know that they made many sacrifices. Too bad they turned the church over to Steve!!! People like this will answer to God some day for the thousands they led astray. I would not want to be them on judgement day! There must be a hotter place in he//...and they will be in it! Guess I am being judgmental again, but at least I am honest! More than I can say for leaders in this smoke screen of a church.
