Why is the library budget so high! Is it really necessary to be at 5.1 million... for what! I really don" see why so much money is needed to fund it. Financial consultant Karl Sender is right use the casino revenue to balance the budget shortfall. The City has done a good job in reducing the casino revenue to balance the budget. Reducing the dependency on casino revenue each year is great... little bit more to go. Next year BP Amoco and Mittal Steel will have there tax abatement expire, so more money will be accounted for to balance the budget without casino revenue.
