Remember when we were told the project was finished in December 2010? Now the new and enlarged commission needs more money, more time, they blame the Army Corps, the railroad, any and everyone but themselves for this failure. What happened to the millions spent since the flood? What happened to the taxes collected since expending the commission? Now they can tax and spend! They added a fancy office in Munster, added high salary overhead, only the commission members have changed. It's the never ending story of the Little Cal, maybe it will be finished next year.

Munster residents last year were concerned about Hammond taking over the town. Wake up and look around, Garcia lives in Hammond, works for the Little Cal Commission and was the East Chicago city engineer during the sidewalk rip off with Pastrick. He must be ringing his hands to open the golden cash register on that $8 million we will be paying to the Little Cal Commission each and every year. How can we trust Garcia with his track record? Just say keep you hands off my money on election day.
