- EXACTLY cpzz. What good is "security" when they are at the shack by the boat ramp? The playset is WAY too close to the water. It shoulda been put where it was before over where there is nothing put open grass. They took the concession stand away, mini golf, batting cages, everything.

- What good is a law when the so called "security" isn't around to enforce it? If there is no swimming there should be signs that say NO SWIMMING. If there are no signs then people are gonna swim there. Even with signs people will still swim. That lake is too dangerous for people to swim in it. Seaweed, sandbars, holes, lord knows what else is in that lake. And I agree the mother should not have let the boys in the water.

- This is a two way story here, yes the mother should've known better than to let the kids swim to the island, but also nowhere around the former beach area or the area where the children went in is there a sign that says no swimming. Hammond PD on the news said swimming isn't allowed and there is security out there to tell people no swimming. Yet again no signs stating there is no swimming and what good is the so called "security" when they sit in the building by the boat ramp, where were they when the kids went in the water?? Sounds to me like Hammond needs to have someone patrol that area to keep people from going in. Like I said this is a two way story. Will Hammond do more to enforce no swimming at Wolf Lake?? I guess we will see.
