1. Does this mean water rate increases for th whole city or just the East side of Lake Station?

  2. It's amazing how quickly things change. When I first met Mr. Soderquist, I thought he would make a great Mayor for Lake Station and voted for him. It was nice to see him continue with improvements for the city that Mayor Wadding had started and then some.

    After reading this article and hearing about some of the moves he has made in the city has me rethinking my decision for future elections. Not only the Mayor's position but perhaps some of the City Council positions as well. Why have an election for council members if they are just going to be a "yes" card for the Mayor. I want someone that is going to challenge the Mayor and demand justification for his actions before voting in his favor at the council meetings.
