  1. If this kids dad was going to assist his son in covering up a murder don't you think he could have done a better job? I mean as long as he has been a cop don't you think he would have come up with a better scenario then this? You read this article and it proves he was working that night. Porter County has had 17 months and they just started looking into him over the past 6 months over what an all credible jailhouse snitch says. He was convicted of armed carjacking, kidnapping, and lets not forget that Charles Aaron Wade III dumped the woman's three year old child on the side of the road and drove off with the woman. If he was going to help cover this up why would he volunteer the information that there was a gun missing. I believe it was 20 something guns taken from their residence, so how would porter county have ever known about this had he not said anything. Surely one would think that an experienced police officer would have had that poor girls body taken further away from their house and why would he ever tell anyone that this took place. Look at Drew Peterson, they never found anything, so they had to convict him on circumstancial evidence and hearsay alone. The police are aware of DNA, so why has his not been checked as well as his fingerprints? Why is there not a person questioning who all of this scientific evidence belongs to? If they fail to figure this information out you could very well have a killer living right next door to you. We all know there was a female voice, so why are they not checking into a female with a dog for that matter? How hard would it have been to ask the "150" people they interviewed to voluntarily submit to DNA and fingerprint testing simply for exclusionary purposes?

You are the one rambling with your delusional theories. At the end of the day the burden of proof must be determined by the state and they have yet to do so. You obviously are someone that knows both of these unfortunate families. I am just making observations. I must say I did read about the guy's fiance that found Amanda. It was the defense that read her police report stating she was a heavy sleeper and would not know if he left the house or not. I for one am not putting the blame on anyone. I was not there to witness anything and would not want to be a person on the jury with someone's life in my hands. However it is the PCSP whos job it is to investigate this and from the looks of it they are clueless. You people do amuse me with your theories though. Can anyone answer any of my questions? I believe that is a no!

  5. I can't resist genius, but the cold case files, investigation ID, and forensic files are real true cases that have been solved. Reality TV if you know what that is. Know what you are talking about if you want to comment you idiot! And why do you have to use Eric Cartmen's name, at least he knew he was not a real cop. I would say your comment is a joke, but a joke is funny. I just graduated from the University of Tennessee's national forensic academy. This is why I am looking at this case. You people obviously have no clue about forensic sciences. If they were last seen together at 1:30, who saw them together? The neighbor is not distinguishing who's voice she heard, so what proof of anything is that? She is clueless as to where these voices even came from. The lady two doors down that heard gunshots changed her testimony to try and make it fit the timeline for the sheriff's department. She originally said 12:22 to 12:28, but tried to change it to 12:50 and got called out on it. The neighbor claims to have seen the police car that was all white, however documents introduced at the court during trial prove that officer McCowan was in Crown Point at work responding to calls. He also stated their cars are black and white with reflective tape with the word police on the side. So I wonder who's white cop car was in their driveway? This man states he sees this kid walking down the road and looks him straight in the eye. I don't know about you, but headlights are bright how can you look straight into bright hallogen headlights. If I just murdered someone I would be in the cornfields not on the road. He also stated "The Justin Timberlake Looking" kid was anywhere from 5' 6" to 5'9". After being coached by the prosecutors he decides he is over 6', If he had such valuable information why did he wait a full two weeks after seeing the arrest photograph in the paper to talk to the police? On his initial contact with the police the witness claimed to see Amanda's car 10' from the front window at Dean's with a black or dark blue colored pick up truck. Why did he not tell them about Justin Timberlake then? If he looks like Justin Timberlake then how do we know it was not Justin Timberlake? Did they check Justin Timberlake's whereabouts for that night? What about any others in the area that look like Justin Timberlake? Surely there are others! I wonder if Elvis was with him? Again I must say the way the car was found why were no red flags going up for the police? Why would they not secure this vehicle instead of releasing it to the dad where valuable evidence could have been? Now I have to ask why did the cop not take the time to drive to Dustin's house and talk to him in person? How does he know it was Dustin he talked to on the phone? For all we know it could have been the person driving the white cop car that was parked in the driveway or Justin Timberlake. I believe it was 5 phone calls and 10 texts within 2 minutes between the first and second contact from the police on Dustin's phone records. As far as the cell phone records go they have not been admitted into evidence so I can't comment on this because it has yet to be mentioned. This is how rediculous you are, Dustin went to the friends house attempting to locate Amanda. I never read anything about him going to a friend's house to get ready to go to IU. Wouldn't his clothes be at his house? And at this house the friend's mom was crying hysterically. Why? What did she know about Amanda's disappearance. I for one would be asking a lot of questions, but not crying after all as you said she was just missing at this time. There is no evidence that Dustin ever said that he would party in her honor, but even if he did it is not proof of murder. I think in this case Dustin might have more common sense then the police do. Why didn't the police process the car is the real question here? Once again what female leaves their car door wide open with their purse and keys in it? Why would they not want to process this car because something is not right here! However they did not get fingerprints off of the steering wheel due to the texture of the steering wheel. They chose to swab it for DNA instead. Her DNA as well as Dustin's DNA was not on this steering wheel. Once again you can't wipe DNA away, but fingerprints can be wiped away. There was DNA on the steering wheel however the police have no clue who it belongs too. There were also other fingerprints and DNA found inside and outside the car which do not belong to Dustin or Amanda. Again the police have no clue who they belong to. With his dad being a cop my guess would be that his dad had asked him that question while texting him that morning about whether or not the cops processed the car. As far as dog evidence you keep talking about that has been thrown out in this case, officer Douthette testified under oath that he did not even trust that dog, so why would the jury? Please I look forward to your next theory because I am eager to throw that out the window too. Once again what evidence? Everything you state is not evidence it is speculation based on half truths and a biased press. I am still waiting for the scientific truth here.

He worked for the prosecution in the Casey Anthony trial you idiot! He was not defending her and I believe his motto is that he goes with what the science tells him. He even stated he does not believe justice was served in that case. Oh look up Ralph Williams, he is a livestock entomologist not a forensic entomoIogist like Haskell. I think I would value Haskells opinion before his. Oh and I believe the prosecution tried to get Haskell first and like I said someone with the status like this guy does not work on a case like this for free unless something is not right! I am still waiting to hear a motive and I have read all of the articles and everything they stated and it does not prove anything. DNA has been used over the years now that we have it to set so many victims of wrongful imprisonment free and allow the true culprits to be put behind bars where they belong. It is 100% proven factual scientific evidence and like I said nobody cares what your opinions or the police opinions are. It all boils down to the facts of the case. We are not regressing back in time by using opinions and ignoring scientific evidence. I am still waiting to hear of some concrete evidence in this case that you all keep talking about. The most important information is who, when, where, and why. Your who is a guess still like I said. We have no idea when she was killed because the cops did not do their job. I believe they still do not know where she was killed once again because the police did not do their job. And the motive, what is the motive? It sounds to me like he was in communication with plenty of girls that night which does not seem obsessive to me. Let me add he is a cops kid right? If he did this then he and his dad are both idiots because if it were me I think her body would have been farther away from my house then her car was found. Blood can never be cleaned up! Never !!!!! Just because you no longer see it with your naked eye does not mean it isn't there. They have been able to go back and solve murders from the 1800's and even cases older than that. Now why on earth would the cops release that car to her dad? The way her car was found should have been a huge red flag. Only an idiot would think nothing of a car that was found with a females belongings in it and the door open and she is no where to be found. Ignorance is not an excuse. All of the techniques used on television are available to yes little old Porter County. All they have to do is ask and I am pretty sure that the State Police and the FBI were involved, so they would be able to do any of this stuff. As far as the guy that found her anyone with half a brain would have been all over him like flies on stink. Like I said watch some cold case files, investigation ID, forensic files, any of these programs. The guilty always place themselves right in the middle of the investigations because they want to know what is going on. When somebody burns a building do you realize there is always a fireman standing there to just watch the crowd? Why do you ask? The guilty always come back to the scene of the crime. This is proven facts once again not an opinion! Don't worry I won't put another comment on here because you can't fix stupid (I am talking about you people). Now go ahead attack me because I am dying to laugh at your dumb replies. As for Amanda's family I sure hope they get closure and that this murder gets solved, but I don't think that is going to happen until they get some competent police to do the job.

  8. Wow Car 54! That is pretty descriptive. I don't recall reading any of that in the papers. Is it your unknown DNA they have found. It sounds like you were there. Oh yeah once again you obviously no nothing of DNA, but even if he washed a shirt it is not going to get to the tracks on its own. It still will have to be carried and there is fibers and DNA that transfer to stuff that you would never know about unless like I said you carry a microscope in your pocket. Apparently that was not the case here because they found DNA. How do you know all of these people's names? You are obviously close to this, but somebody needs to check into you. That is scary!!! Oh yeah once again try reading, Haskell and Williams work together and Haskell took classes with Williams, but he has far surpassed him. Like I said someone on this level does not take a case for free for no reason!!!

  9. All of you have this kid and his dad convicted and I have not heard one single solid shred of concrete evidence yet. Forgive me if I am wrong here, but her car seat being found all the way back does not point to Dustin unless he is the only tall person in Porter County. There are other tall kids in Portage and Wheeler and that creepy guy that found her body was pretty tall too. Sorry, everyone was looking for a day and a half and he finds her in 5 minutes hmmm. Red flags all over the place. I am not saying he did it like you guys are accusing, but he needs to be checked into thats for sure. Another point I might add is DNA is the most important part of a case and I am pretty sure that Dustin's DNA is not on anything. Oh wait thats right, they found it on HIS cellphone and HIS orange shirt. Did I read that correctly that HIS orange shirt was with him when he was arrested? So where did this second orange shirt come from? I don't know anyone that can wipe away just their own DNA and leave others behind. It is gonna be all or none, but it is DNA you can't see it. That is why it is called trace evidence. Even a cop can't get rid of that evidence unless they can carry a microscope in their pocket. You leave some behind and take some with you wherever you go. Another question is why is his dog's hair not on her. Dogs tend to shed and if she was last at his house with him then where did this dog hair come from if its not from his dog? As far as the amount of murders that have been solved in the last 10 to 15 years in NW Indiana with the help of a forensic entomologist you might be surprised by the answer. Look it up! Anybody here look up who Neal Haskell is? In case you just believe everything you read and don't think for yourselves, he is the top entomologist expert in the world. Does the Casey Anthony trial ring a bell? I'm pretty sure he knows what he is talking about. He has been on several television programs talking about how his work was used to solve murders. He trains the police in evidence collection and he lives in Rensalear Indiana. The fact that he is doing this pro bono means there is something not right with this case. An expert like this is not going to come testify for someone for free unless something is majorly wrong here! They use maggots and other bugs to help figure out a time of death. I don't know if anyone of you are familiar with the importance of this, but you need a time of death in order to eliminate people as suspects. I am pretty sure we have no clue when Amanda died because Porter County was too lazy to do their jobs. She obviously did not die at the time they found her, which is the time they went with. And this eyewitness guy, are you kidding me! Is anyone familiar with the eyewitness identification problems? Try reading about this stuff! This is the number one reason for all wrongful convictions and there are so many innocent people now being set free after 20 or more years of incarceration with the introduction of DNA (imagine that)! Does anyone watch the forensic files, cold case files, familiar with the innocence project, anything here! This is all common sense stuff. Oh and just because a gun is missing from their house means that it had to be him right? That does not look good I will say, but it still does not prove anything. They don't even know what caliber gun she was killed with. It is only speculation not evidence. I hope none of you are ever picked as jurors for anyone because you are not smart enough to think for yourselves. Do you think because you read it in the paper that it is the truth? It is obvious that none of you people have any backgrounds in criminal justice. Your comment about this not being rocket science, apparently it is for you because you see all this evidence that is not there. What about the 90 pieces of evidence in this case why are they not bringing this stuff out. This is the trial and I have not heard one thing about it and I believe the prosecution is about done with their case. If it were up to you guys we would all be sitting in jail because the police think we did something. You guys are the reason we are slowly losing all of our rights in this country! Whether you like it or not the law is innocent until proven guilty! I close with this wise saying "opinions are like butt holes, everybody has one, but nobody cares to hear it"! I just stated the facts of the case, but God help your children!
