Idea is good, but come'on. Every month is "let's go buy something" from a business in Gary? Where they highlight one store and encourage the residents to buy something from that store? Doing the math that's ..... # of months in a year .... Plus ..... Carry the 1 .... 12 business'? That are highlighted in a calendar year? Grassroots effort needs to think bigger then that .... Whats the poor guy who's slated to be the choosen business next July 2013 going to do until then?

Need a buy local campaign specific to every business in Gary. Every month ... Every business.

And whats the over/under on the story written about the Rev. Gene Simmons taking kick backs from business' wanting their store highlighted for the month?

I don't think Spanlash is on board .... I think what FLOAT is trying to point out while DRIPPING it in sarcasm is organized Religion, and the narrative they put out there, is absolutely the definition of " hipocricy" .

Example ... Support chick-fil-a day because ... The bible tells you (i stress u ... And not me ... My values are based in Humanism) marriage should be btwn a man and a women. Correct? While you're supporting chick-fil-a .... You're also throwing it in a 16 year old while married with kids. I don't think he's speaking about you specifically ... You may be a great person ... He's adding satire to organized religion and their overall narrative.

We need our politicians to stop tip toeing around this issue and tackle this head on! Nobody ... and i repeat ... nobody needs an AR-15 to sit in a duck blind ... nobody needs a tech 9 OR an AK or a MAC10 to track a bunny rabbit through the woods. These weapons are produced to kill people .. they DO NOT belong in the hands of anybody claiming to be a "responsible" gun owner ...
