- So if I understand this, Branowski, the school board president tells people to call their legislators to complain about the lack of funding. The numbers don't lie; LC is underfunded per pupil compared to a lot of other schools. BUT, what I do not understand is what does that have to do with all the administrators getting raises? Call your legislator! Sure thing. But why did you dish out $200K to the admins?

- In fairness, the state regulates what can be charged for tuition students. Transfer students are there legally because they have moved. Tuition students = $. You do get $ per kid from the state. The problem is the state government who screwed up funding in the first place.

- You are incorrect on that. I assume by the "broadcast booth" you mean the pressbox. The pressbox on the home sideline was constructed in the mid-1990s as part of the MHS renovation. It has been the same pressbox for years. There is a new one built on the new bleachers that was part of the renovation on the visiting sideline. The bleachers had to be replaced to get up to code. I am not sure why they added a new pressbox, but it has no bells and whistles. Checking it out two years ago it had folding chairs and is not heated or air conditioned. The home pressbox is very nice, on par with Hobart, Crown Point, Merrillville, etc. I have not been in this in several years, but am 99% sure there were no leather chairs.

- Maybe if "Stokes" would have paid attention in class, he would know it is "principals" over "principles." It is also "day-to-day" and "other then." But you are right, "unions" are the problem with society.

- At least he has an idea. Bad or not. A "blue ribbon committee?" What the heck is that? Pence has been the most vague candidate I have seen since Junior High student government who ran to "make the school better." Have an opinion Mike Pence!
