  1. i find it interesting these comments who kick someone when they are down are allowed to be posted. maybe after the license you should go for blood. remember what comes around goes around -KARMA people! why doesn't SAKS lose his law license for bad advice? maybe someone should file a complaint.

  9. The county also paid Hammond attorney David Saks $310,000 and Schererville attorney Jim Wieser $230,000 over 10 years.

    Saks represented Thomas Philpot as county clerk and coroner and provided legal advice and representation for the county elections board.

    Saks said court battles among competing political campaigns, particularly during the 2008 election, drove his fees higher.

    "I had no control over that," he said.
