- Justifiable Mutiny?...Karma?..Look now, the responses are fading and already no one really cares about your petty fiefdom. After reading into the comments made on both articles, I've come to this conclusion; I predict the replacements will do their job, and remember that everyone has a boss to answer to. If they don't, it seems apparent to me that the rank and file there, along with the town board has grown enough backbone that it will not sit idle and accept mediocrity, apathy, and favoritism for one person at the expense of those they serve. No one should head an organization for more than a few years with few notable exceptions. After that, what benefit do they have save collecting a paycheck at taxpayer expense? Why else would you fill a public forum with your supporters when it is clear that none of the officers who do the real work and take the actual risks each day support you? Those officers brave enough to appear there and be threatened by the chief's wife and supporters should be proud of the stand they have made. It seems there are some of them, at least, who have the courage to stand in the face of adversity. I'd sleep well at night knowing that there are people out there sworn to protect me and my family like that. For the dissenters, I'd offer this advice; You had better put back on that uniform, and remember what it means to protect the public you made an oath to protect or retire, and make way for those who will.

- Lucky, I think a better question is why was nothing done about it? A bi-partisan board voted unanimously, and town council 4-1. Sounds to me like someone over there wasn't getting the job done. There was another story about the FOP saying they had radio and car issues as well. It makes me wonder if there was anything criminal going on there with some of the ranking officers willing to stick their necks out to speak on it. I find it curious that none of the officers given immunity to speak didn't offer support on behalf of them in a room full of their supporters.

- Really? Do you think that the county police are robots that don't get breaks and don't deserve to eat like human beings in a restaurant if they choose to using their break time like anyone else? These guys have seen more horror than you or your family will ever see in generations so how about cutting them a little slack and don't criticize them for eating. They are human beings too after all. What is wrong with you anyway?

- I see these buses every day with nobody on them. This is a big black hole for our tax dollars that needs to be destroyed once and for all. Public transportation never makes a profit or even breaks even, requiring it to be subsidized by the taxpayer. Cut this and any other stupid nonsense we're wasting money on and reduce our tax burden.
