- You can't blame all nursing homes. Its the people that work there. There are a lot of nurses doing it for the money not the love and dont care so more is bound to happen not all are bad. My wife is an LPN at nursing home and was offered a management position that is usually filled by RN because how much she cares and how hard she works. If there were more like her there would be less problems. So please dont generalize all into one group it is upsetting to those that care.

- I would contribute that more to the way the police handle those matters now. I bet you will also see n increase of DUI arrest amongst adults as well. Does anyone think about what they are saying before they open there mouths. Back in the day the police would most likely take you home or just call your parents or have sober person drive if one present. want to check for drugs get a K9 officer to sit at 1 door and only allow kids to come through that door then walk it around cars in parking lot including teachers and to fund this would be cheaper then paying for 25 drug test a month. resource officer already paid to be there and to buy a trained dog that would last for years would be much cheaper and not violate anyones rights.

- Good parenting bet your kids they cant commit a crime so they go out and do it. What if they would have been caught doing this then expelled from school? Do you get to say I bet them just to see and everything will be ok. I am going to bet my children they cant rob a bank for 50,000 and when they get caught I will just say I bet them they couldnt do it to prove how good the banks are against bank robbers. added the last part just to respond to your next comment that would try to prove that your bad parenting was ok because you were just doing a test just to see. Start saving bail money now you will need it with those ace parenting skills of yours. It is not the Schools job to be checking for use of drugs not to mention kids do not go to school voluntarily. All citizens have a right to a FREE education and is a violation of ones rights. If your approval of this is that it is the students dont have right to drive to school then my suggestion to parents is turn in all parking permits and see how the school handles busing all the extra kids to school on already over crowded buses. Who pays for all this when schools dont have the money to operate now. The constitution says that everyone has the right to free education and we have to pay for or kids to go to school and asked to supply a bunch of supplies that are not returned if not used. How about making smart decisions to save money and not stupid decisions that cost money so you have to get rid of some asset to the kids education to fund nonsense.

- How many cops have pulled over someone for no reason because they believe they are drunk? I am willing to bet everyone on patrol. Most are trying to prove something and have become a officer because of the authority they get. A week ago while I was still in bed some police officer decided to have my plate ran while my vehicle sat parked with no one in it. My question is why and doubt it would be to check if stolen not many vehicles the same as mine in this area. I know they ran the plate because a friend heard it on scanner. They were just looking to start something.

- this exact same thing happened to my brother a few years ago. When he talked to lawyer he was told that he had a case would win but he shouldnt proceed if he was going to keep living in porter county because he would be harassed.

- If people that are given money by our government are not required to take drug test why should high school students . This guy is a moron what a violation of rights. It is everyones constitutional right to a FREE education and thats all theses teachers are to do educate not investigate and make sure students are not doing drugs thats what parents are for.
