- Blaming an 17-year old girl isn't exactly grown up. You don't know the situation nor should you accuse this girl for just wanting attention, if you read the article you would notice that the girl didn't tell anything until her father forced her too, so don't you think there may be some truth to it? Also, how can you be so quick to blame the girl when Mr. Chinn is living with a girl whom he met while she was a student at Morton, which is also when their relationship started...she was 18 years old at the time, which may make it legal but that doesn't say a whole lot about Mr. Chinn's character when it comes to dating students.

- While I agree that everyone should let the evidence talk before they run their mouth, I'm not so sure that thinking "positively" about the situation would instantly make me favor Mr. Chinn. Unless you are Mr. Chinn or this young lady you have no idea what actually happened, so just like these people shouldn't jump to conclusions about Mr. Chinn you shouldn't jump to conclusions about this young lady. I'm not saying either is right because I don't know, but Mr. Chinn hasn't always conducted himself in a fashion that has given him a good reputation throughout the school community, this young lady may be the first to go to authorities but she is far from the first girl to claim that she has been involved with Mr. Chinn in ways that are inappropriate for a student/teacher relationship.
