As a Christian woman I believe what you are saying is partly true. A good parent can teach their children right from wrong but there is a lot that you did not take into consideration. What about a single mother that must work to support her children. She can not be at home and work at the same time. What about the parents that bring their children up in church and those children live in bad neighborhoods and get in with the wrong kids. I have seen this happen. There are some people out there that do keep having children by different men and that do not care and do not want to be bothered. I have seen this too.

As always Ed I love your humor. From what I understand none of those arrested were members of the Invaders. My husband has a support shirt and hes not an Invader. What about the sons of anarchy shirts and there hooded shirts are they under scrutiny as well?

I'm sorry I should have been specific. There fundraisers are for people that have passed away, for children that are ill, or for families with huge medical bills. I have actually been to one and I did not see anything wrong and the food was great. They do not brag about their fundraisers and for some reasons they do not publish the good things that they do in the newspapers. Many years ago when I lived in Illinois they raised money for a terminally ill child and gave him the best Christmas ever. To be specific I was born in Hobart, IN but at the age of 18 I decided I wanted to live in the big city. That was big mistake so I returned home to Indiana.

Good for stating the fact that they were not invaders. I had an invader as a neighbor at one time and he saw me changing a flat tire and he ended up changing it. In all the years he was my neighbor. I never had any trouble out him. He worked out at the mill and he took good care of his home and property. He always waved to us as he went by. I also know of one that goes to church and he teaches handicap children to play baseball. I know another one that will not let you walk all over him but he is a great provider for his 6 kids and he does the normal father stuff. I love watching him with his kids and he also helped me with my 3 year old grandson that was seeing a psychologist for EBD. We just got my grandson almost a year ago and when we got him he was very violent. The psychologist just loved that invader too. She felt that he was well educated and a great role model.

Every time our police attacks the invaders, he really makes himself look bad. I once had a chance to talk to officer Troy when he was at the Portage High School and I realized then he thinks he knows everything but nothing at all on certain subjects. I regret not suing him then but because of my religion we believe it is wrong to sue.

Is the AR-15 and the Machete illegal. This is a serious question because I do not know for sure. I know those T shirts were not illegal. This article did not mention how many pounds of marijuana they seized or at least I did not see it. This must have been a total embarrassment to the Portage Police Department. I think of raids as 1000's of pounds of marijuana, or cocaine, or heroin, or other hard drugs. I do think they are guilty of child endangerment. The article is so misleading, They should not show any thing that was not illegal to try and deceive the public. I guess our police chief needs to cover his butt some way. I remember this first article that I ever read on the Invaders here in Portage and it said that they were going to target the invaders. It sounds like a case of harassment to me. My husband and my sister have shirts that say support your local invaders and neither one of them belong to any club.

Where does it say that those arrested were Invaders. They show a picture of invader t shirts. Big Deal. My husband and sister have a support your local invaders shirt and by the way you can get them at any fundraiser. My husband and sister neither one belong to the club but do appreciate some of the work they do that is not published. That's right you would not want to publish the good.
