How is Abbott going to make up a 2 million dollar sales tax deficit as a result of his failure to bring in new businesses to replace the more than 20 that have left under his regime.
Now let's discuss the fact that well over 20 businesses have left or closed under the Abbott regime. That translates into a 2 Million Dollar Deficit when compared to 2008. Taxes may have to be raised or services cut as a result.
The Village of Lansing desperately needs a change. Mayoral candidate Don Sciackitano and the Progressive Action Party will do the job that Abbott & Co have failed to do. Every vote counts,so make sure you vote this Tuesday,April 9th.
Lansing taxpayers did not consent to this expensive,unnecessary hire and now we are concerned about how our tax dollars are spent and confused about who is running the Village of Lansing.
Why are we paying two people to do one person's job?
As to "why on 41 in Highland/Schererville area there is a Target, Meijers, Walmart and Stracks - all seeming to be doing just fine."
Those stores each sell a different level of quality and Walmart doesn't have anywhere near the selection of goods and food that a SperWalmart will have.
