  2. Bryan F had it right. “To me it is common sense to take an 8 percent pay cut rather than a 100 percent pay cut,” Faucault said. Spoken like a person who wants to work to contribute, even with a pay cut. Sometimes we need to think as a team, and take a step back for the greater good of all ... so we can WORK and CONTRIBUTE, to our family and to society. Blessings and good wishes to Bryan and family as he seeks to continue to provide for his family and contribute by working hard. You will come out on top.

Great question to ask legislators downstate ... that funding formula needs to change. Either change the funding formula, or vote IN legislators who will change it.

  5. "LIKE"

"The only ones taxpayers have to blame are themselves. We voted for a 1% property tax cap knowing full well the bulk of school funding comes from property taxes. Now school districts across the state are complaining right and left about something we all knew would happen once we decided to cap in order to save personal income. Now the same taxpayers are wanting the same level of service all while paying less. Teachers don't teach for free, aides don't aid for free and schools don't repair themselves for free. State budgets are dependent on the taxes it receives. It gets less, it provides less."
