- Really? Who gives a S**T? She will be charged and set free in Lake County. The judicial system here sucks when it comes to dealing with OWIs and DUIs. All you have to do is retain a lawyer, or be appointed a public defender and within days you will be back behind the wheel. I know far too many people with the same or more offenses still driving here in Lake County. Maybe one of these fools will disrupt the life of a judge and than things will change around here. What a joke, 5 offenses and still driving? Good for her. She didnt fail, the system failed!

- Hey Hobartteacher, do they teach this in your school, Kiss my a**! You may be right, there may be some one sided stories out there, but I assure you they are not all one sided. I have been dealing with this for over a year with this school and I assure you that 2 day suspensions off the bus is the max they get. You say that kids call bullying a dirty look or simple things like that? With society and technology today that is all it takes to start it. Your simple minded thinking is very typical of teachers and administrative staff today. Teachers with mind sets like you have no business educating our children if that is truly how you feel. And if it is how you truly feel I pray for you, I pray that one day you NEVER have to attend a funeral for a student that you said was over reacting. My daughter has been terrorized in Grimmer, hit, pushed, tormented, things thrown at her over and over on the bus and caught on the bus camera, and each and every time it is the same 3 kids. Each and every time it is the same lame a** punishment. You sir, have no idea about the administrative staff at this school, and until you do YOUR HOMEWORK, please keep your comments to yourself. This vice principal told my daughter not to worry about the other girl because she was ugly anyway. That was his way of dealing with it. When I asked about it he said he was trying to make her feel better. Oh really? Just like he was a few years back when he got into trouble for talking to young girls on Myspace when it was still cool? This is a joke and we dont need any comedians offering their solutions. There are only 2 types of educators in this world Mr Hobart teacher, those who truly care for children and have a passion for teaching of which I consider a great many my personal friends, and those who were too stupid to do anything else with their lives.... Which are you!

- We have been going through the same thing at Grimmer for a year now. My daughter shakes and cries uncontrollably some mornings because it is so bad for her in Grimmer. Her counselor assures us every time it will be handled and of course it isn't. The Vice-Principal, Mr. Mario Castaneda, is a real piece of work. I spoke with this clown on the phone and he basically told me that there is nothing they can do except talk to the kids doing the bullying and suspend them from the bus for 2 days at a time. We went on to contact the Lake Central School Corp Superintendent Larry Veracco, who after his secretary yelled at us, he proceeded to say basically the same dang thing, sorry LC supports Bullies. Really? This needs to stop. I should not have to pull my daughter out of school because the school cannot protect her. If I dont do my job at work, I would be fired. I worry every day, I hope and pray that I do enough to show my daughter that this is temporary and that she cannot let these idiots control her actions. I hope that all the children being bullied in Grimmer make the right choices, because unfortunately there are those who dont, and end up taking their own lives. We read about it every day. Bullies are not like they used to be. It used to end at the end of the school day for the most part. Now with technology and such, bullying goes all the way to the house. It is 24/7. Grimmer is a JOKE! Grimmers Staff is a JOKE!! The Lake Central Superintendant is a JOKE!!! Instead of sending out automated voicemails to everyone everyday about what afterschool activities are going on get off your A** and do your primary job and ensure our children a SAFE education. And HOW did this girl just walk out of school without one member of the staff seeing her? Oh ya I know you have sooo many kids to watch you cant watch them all. Cry me a river, do your DA*N jobs!
