The reality is this school board and administration is irresponsible and greedy. They made unnecessary cuts if there is now extra money. Who was in charge of the projected budget? Anyone who had the kids' best interest at heart would've decided to use the money to put people and programs back in place that impact student learning the most. If 98% in the corporation are going without raises, so could the 2% that did. You watch. The next article will be about LC staff being cut next school year, because there won't be enough money in the budget!
