  1. LOL oh common sense you really should change your name as you lack commen sense. No it is not what high school kids do for flipping sakes!! He was in his 50's and her Pastor and someone she trusted not some classmate. Have you read the court documents on how he wrote her love letters, had sex with her while a youth confence was going on at his church. Blah blah blah. If you had a 16 year old and it was your Pastor and you had common sense I bet you would not sit back and say oh well its what high school kids do. If so sounds like you would be a great deacon at First Baptist. Wonder if grape is your Kool Aid choice.

  3. Finally!!!!!!!!! Just hope that after all the people that sent the judge letters begging to be easy on their Pastor are sick to their stomach after reading all the evidence against him. To the family that even had their teenage daughter write a letter of support..........would you still support this guy if he did all this to your daughter??????? Stop drinking the Kool Aid!!!
    This church has had MANY sicko's in it. (Just google it) and yet they still believe! The other Pastor had a girlfriend for years!!!!!!! Stop turning the blind eye and looking down your noses at others and open up your eyes people!!!!!!!! There is other churches!!!! To the lady who said we can visit your church.........no thank you they would not like me as I am not going to give them all my money nor be told what to do. I have a back bone and know the difference between right and wrong.I also answer to God not a MAN!! No way would I turn a blind eye to things that are wrong like most of you have done. For Petes sake employees drove the Pastor to their spots to have sex. They should all be in jail!!!!

  4. Hey Common Sense get your facts right..............he was not a Principal at her school!! He was a Pastor who was "helping" her!!!! So if you had a 16 year old daughter you would be fine with this as well. Sounds like someone who drinks their Kool Aid at that church!

  5. Please really.........he was a dead beat Dad. Don't tell me that he could not be in his sons life. He could have paid child support and he could have went to the courts for help if he really wanted to be part of Levi's life!! And do you really think he is going to tell the papers that he is looking for blame or wants to cash in. Get real!!! And who said anything about him being black? Pulling the race card? A dead beat Dad comes in many colors in case you did not know!

  6. I am so tired of hearing how this Dad was not involed because of the divorce or the old lady was pshyco blah blah blah. Bottom line..... there is no law that prohibits a so called father to pay child support!!!! Excuse after excuse for this guy and bottom line..............he is looking to cash in. Let this poor boy rest in peace and let the Dad feel the guilt of not being what a Dad should be.

  7. Schaap's "disgraceful" actions do not define the church.................Really???? What is wrong with the followers of this church. They must be very weak people to believe that this is okay because he did so many other good things (their words). What would these people think if it was their daugher? Time and time again on these blogs that question is asked to the "believers" and no one responds to that! Hmmmmm why is that? And yes one man can not define a church but there have been to many to count and to many that have been afraid to tell the truth of what happened to them with this cult because of brain washing and the fear of being looked down upon by these people of that church. These members need to step up and stop pretending that all is perfect in their church world open their eyes before it is their son or daughter that is abused.

  9. PW...............there is so much out there besides from the author of this current book that should be more than enough reason for you to stop going to this church. I am thinking that you still can not help but defend FBC. You just cant help it ..............it is drilled into you. While you say things that are fair and you seem to agree that things are wrong in that church here you are.... you cant help but find fault in something that is said concerning that church. You seem to be so close to walking but maybe its fear that makes you not. Hopefully one day you will see ALL the writing on the wall. The good news is that JS sure did finally fit into that gun belt. Just sad that JS choice is minors where JH at least had a girlfriend old enough.

  10. Seems to me that you "Follower of Jesus" needs to wake up. There are many stories and charges out there on FBC and the abuse. There is also bus drivers, Sunday School teachers, a Principal who left the state with his student at his school, good ol Mr Hyles and his girlfriend, Mr Hyles son, The Decoster's legal issues....the list goes on and on and what is the common thing all these people have together..................drinking the Kool Aide of FBC. Get a backbone and stop drinking the Kool Aide yourself and realize that your weak and cant stand up for what is right. Just like all the Fundies your pointing fingers at the ones that had the courage to leave and stand up for them selves.
