- I had my tax increase last year. Between the dolts who voted for a property tax increase so the school system (Crown Point) didn't have to make painful choices and my share of the new library I am out nearly $475 yearly. And, it's going on 9 years since I received a pay increase in my line of work. Since I am still a net payer that helps finance the freeloaders I see that I'm a target for the county now. Enough already.
