Vote for this tax and we will vote you out of office. 1.5% is alot of money for a household earning 150k. What right do you have to take more of my "earned" money to redistribute!

Is this another case of "who you know" politics as usual to slide in to another position where character should matter. DUI? Pointing a gun at a officer? Disgraceful... Maybe our elected officials should try harder to fill these spots such as searching for qualified persons who have solid character that had been demonstrated through being solid citizens and business professionals. Lets try a little harder by working a little harder to find people that the tax payers of our county can count on

Political clown hacks would never make it in the private sector managing any kind of business where the owner demanded budgets be met, goals, timelines, honesty, hard work. Etc... Take from the earners give to the takers (lazy non producers this county is full of). 1.75% ??? Are you kidding me??? Does that mean that the special voter approved assessments on our tax bills will be covered by this new tax? There are very few politicians that become politicians to do the right thing. Most get involved anf go with the flow.. Government waste at all levels. No respect for honest hardworking folks. Tax revenue equals easy money fot gov officials who never loose a night sleep becsuse of money wasted

You have got to be kidding me. How does a levee system get built without forseeing 2500 trees posing a problem? How much is this going to cost now? Wherw will these funds come from? Maybe another special tax that can be put on everyones bill within the watershed.

Good for Griffith residents. Time for all take take responsibility for themselves and stop looking for the"freebies". No excuses, you do whatever you can legally to make it. Work 2-3 jobs and find ways to survive by living within your means. Not everyone is entitled to everything if they have not earned it.

Maybe since Buncich is aware of illegal sales occurring in the parking lot he should spend more time enforcing the law and I am not surprised with Mike Repay. Known the guy and one of the few Dems that will deliver honest straight forward government. Hope he takes a good look at this proposed lake option tax. Glad He's in there.
