Tax watcher sounds like the Opriskos. Always trying to cause problems. They get their own way at the expense of others. They are the "bullies of Portage".

Both Opriskos need to be an advertisement for how to be a bully! Imagine Portage Township Schools trying to control the bullying problem when the biggest bully of all is on Oprisko on the school board!

Tell me one thing oprisko has done except claim she's an attorney and bully everyone. Fekete is an asset to our community and has a lot to offer. Mrs Nelson cares about the kids, teachers, and community. Deb Ekdahl is a good person and always cares about what happens with the kids!
The taxpayers have seen the nastiness of oprisko and will vote her out in 2 years!

I think the Times needs to investigate how much work circle r electric has done for the Opriskos. I agree with acloseobserver . The word for the day is HYPOCRITE . Opriscos mad because he wasn't invited!

Valpo residents should be thankful that Mike Berta has been hired to get the school system out of financial difficulties.
A lot of great kids have graduated under the leadership of Mike Berta. They are respectful, unspoiled young men and women.
Yes ValpoJWorth. Intelligent people would still chose to send their children to Portage.

Mike Berta will be a great asset to The Valparaiso Schools. He is a wonderful honorable man who was treated with terrible disrespect by the board member who constantly makes a spectacle of herself and gives out free beers for a vote. Gee I wonder who Hadtogo is talking about? Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out!
