  1. Lets see ...

Unions have been around since the early 1900's. All of a sudden, its unions, now, causing companies to relocate overseas so they can compete in the world market and pay their workers third world wages and make them work under thirld world working conditions. And, I guess we just have to forgive unions for asking that employers provide them with reasonable vacation time, health insurance, dental insurance and retirement plans. How dare them, right?

Over the last thirty years average hourly wages for middle income americans have stagnated while the richet 5-10 percent of americans have captured all the incom gains. Corporate profits this year are the best they have ever been and companies are making money hand over fist. Worker productivity is also as hight as its ever been. Yea, how dare unions ask to share in the prosperity!

Oh, that's right, the workers didn't build that, corporations built that!

    Give me a break!

  2. So a professor of economics comes out asserting that labor unions are synonymous with cartels and organized crime ... What a joke! It saddens me to think that this is type of garbage he spews to his students in his classroom.

  3. So if I understand you correctly, any person who chooses to become a union member in this country is "lazy" and just wants a "free ride" in life and it is only those people who are non-union workers that are willing to "work for a living to support their families". I find your position rather hard to believe.

You make it seem as though the only "lazy" people in the workplace are union members. What a bunch of garbage! There are lazy union and non-union workers out there so don't just make a blanket statement that all union employees are lazy.
