I hope many more of these suits happen and the state's begin to have to pay for the turmoil they put people through with the idiot's who abuse their "power badge"..BTW...this isn't a "racial judgement"..white's, blacks, police officers, politicians, ect should all be accountable for their actions so NOT ALL COPS ARE BAD.

  2. I must say first off that a fire of this capacity is news Zuzka55 adds that firefighters is spelled wrong. Spell check sometimes even fails. I have to say that Dave Ingram's pictures are probably the best pictures I have seen in the paper...not that the other's are bad but he really captured the internal destruction of fire. Did I spell that right?

  6. Is this right that she's been missing with no contact since September 16th? That has to be a nightmare...or they raised one selfish kid. Wish them the best....hope it's the latter and they get to counseling. Sad

  9. I guess it's all in how we view our kids. I lost many, many people in my family. Losing my mom to a drunk driver at 19 was horrendous waiting to bury her for 5 days until the ground thawed.
    I can't imagine that mother's pain. I can tell you just by the article that if it is truly factual....the "father" is more about himself than his son.
    Many are...many. This stories scenario now has my mind racing...because I have a son who is 20 and just moved out of state to be away from here...being with his father. He had a bone tumor at 9 and when his father quit his job he had to pay for insurance so he elected a plan that would exclude the entire side of his face where this tumor came from. This guy reminds me of the same.
    He seemed like such a sweet young man....I'm sorry this display of ignorance surfaces anytime between parents who create lives...let alone at such a tragic one for the mother. RIP Levi...Something about this story and you will stay with me forever...

  10. What do you mean what's the point? The point is this is a tragic display of parenting for this poor child. He is a dollar sign for the father....as my kids are. God Bless his mom...it sounds as if his family life was not all there.
