Despite the 35 years of being in DC, we sent Richard Lugar with Indiana conservative values of fiscal constraint and the ideals of limited government to change DC, and unfortunately DC changed him. He has literally voted for nearly 1/2 of our nation's debt with his 15 debt ceiling increase votes totaling 7 trillion dollars, TARP, auto bailouts, Fannie and Freddie bailouts, and even supported the Dream Act. We need fresh people, ideas, and a new commitment to the principles of limited government. Richard Lugar at 80 and a history of growing government, isn't that individual.
