- My parents taught me to go to school and get good grades, mind my manners, be polite, do my homework, clean up after myself, help around the house, lend a hand to others, be honest, go to church, and so much more. However, I have a lengthy list of behaviors and actions that they did not teach me and are less than desirable. I will never instantly blame the parents for the actions of their children. Parents that have not experienced a troublesome situation with their kids behavior in public are probably just very lucky in most cases because their kids didn't get caught.
