- Al, thanks for a great piece honoring Mrs. and Coach Howell and the Hobart football program! I'm a 1980 HHS graduate, played all through high school, was part of the 1979 team to play in the State Championship for the first time, at that last home game at Brickie Bowl referenced in the photo and one of the many ex-players leaving St. Bridget's Church with Coach in a tearful salute. They say "you can't go home", but your article certainly took me there for a while... sml
