  1. Dual meets don't matter anymore thanks to the idiotic IHSAA. It's about the individuals now and it's a real shame. They (IHSAA) took away a good thing for kids to contribute to a "Team" even when they are not exactly the best individual. Truth is, the IHSAA doesn't care about wrestling as they allow luck to determine draws at the semi-state and no wrestlebacks. The Team state champion will be the one with the best 5-6 individuals on a 14-person roster, thanks so much for your concern IHSAA!

  2. Indiana is going to 6 classes next year, as they should! Perhaps you should do some research and find out why Illinois has 8 classes for football. Start at looking for population numbers and go from there. The Chicagoland area/suburbs have the LARGEST number of youths participating in sports than anywhere in the WORLD. That's a fact.

  3. Hey Sniper...rushing 50 times and passing once has nothing to do with the trenches. Stop blaming the people who are not even blocking/tackling anyone during the game...the coaches. Players have to be held accountable too and if they got their butts whipped, so be it. It happens. GREAT defense wins championships so whether Lowell runs too much or not, you still gotta stop people on defense.

  4. Nice for the kids? A stadium at M'ville that is 1/2 full at best on Friday nights now you want to play at Lucas Oil? How about earning your way there? I guess you gotta take what you can get.
July 11, 2012 3:17 am on Merrillville to kick off 2012 season at Lucas Oil Stadium
  5. Hey Jim! Wake-up buddy! H-F is NOT a powerhouse, get your facts straight. They are an above average team and very far from being a powerhouse in ILLINOIS! Buzea has a lot of work to do before he and H-F are considered GOOD. You need to go back and check their records and success under Buzea.
