  1. Ms. Jeanne Nowacki says that a subdivision without a park was one reason the family bought there. You know, the typical must have list for a new house.... 4 bed, 3 bath, open concept, NO beautiful park for the kids to have fun at, 3 car garage... sure Jeanne

  2. Sorry, I should have dumbed it down for you. My bad. We're not talking debt reduction here, we're talking how to boost the economy. The answer is less taxes for businesses and their employees while eliminating non-sensical regulations. You're ok with giving the banks $85 billion a month and just hoping they use it in good-faith to spread it throughout the economy? Laughable and naive.

  3. What happens when the Fed's manipulation dries up? They're purchasing $85 billion worth of MBS and treasuries per month. That is pumping $1.2 trillion worth of printed dollars into the system each year. $1.2 trillion and the economy is still just in mediocre recovery? The $1.2 trillion has the same effect on the economy as 20.4 million jobs at $50,000 per year. What happens when the faucets of printed money get turned off? I feel for the next President. He/she will have to deal with a real-world struggling economy, not a manipulated "recovering" economy.

  4. Great letter! America was meant to be a meritocracy, not a handoutocracy.

  5. What? Pence called for an income tax cut of 10%. He wanted it at 3.06% down from 3.4%. So a drop of 0.34% is a 10% cut relative to the current 3.4%.

  8. There should have been strict parameters that were to have been met before allowing or expanding any charter schools in the state of Indiana. This is common sense. If public taxpayer dollars are being used to help operate it, via the voucher scheme, wait to see if the charter schools succeed. They have not, and it has been multiple years now of the same failures. When a plan involving tens of millions of taxpayer dollars fails, it is time to abort the plan, not double down.

Also, nothing in life is free. Good public schools are paid for by the taxpayers through higher real estate prices and/or taxes. Now you can live in a dump and get great education for free and have the taxpayers foot the bill for you. What a backwards idea.
