- To wally's mom, yes he was married and what the article does not mention is that his stepson had made alligations also, but before any thing could be prusued his step son died. If he is still married or not I am not sure, and of course this is all hear say, so just consider yourself very lucky to have dodged that. What everyone does not understand is that all was hidden from parents on purpose. Bates did call police as soon as she new and could get it out of her son. It was not until he stated John he is bad, and Ma he hurt me did she know for sure, not wanting to go back to the group home and even then, she did not know who, or what happened it took years to put the pieces together for her. - I got news for you her and her family have taken care of her son. Her brother practactly raised that son. Welfare is not the issue and you are a fool to belive that. How much do you know about this game the system plays? Nothing obviously. That woman has the funds to take care of her son without your tax dollars. She just is unable to get the help. Please since you have all the answers What do you do when you have the money and no one will take it to give him help? I would like you to gimme gimme gimme the answer cause if you got that then you have just saved about 75% of the kids with this problem. Please before you comment so cruelly know you facts. Oh and and just so you know she brought a perfectly good kid in society, she thought she got him help and it is what the system did to him while he was getting the suposed help that caused his problems. So now she is dealing with what they the system did not what she brought into society. Your comments are cruel and wrong. However they are your oppinion, Wonder what you would do if the shoe was on your foot.
