- Just trying to get people to see the bigger picture. Anyone who thinks that democrats are doing things for the reasons they spent a billion plus dollars fabricating in the form of TV ads, junk mail, radio and tv interviews, etc.. is poorly mistaken. They want money and government power, they dont care who they take it from. And yes, they will invent technicalities and unjust laws in the name of some issue that gets their base emotionally attached, to get that money and power. This left leaning newspaper and those that comment on every article to spin things to the left are not providing clarity, so there it is. This is not a black and white thing, a nazi vs jews thing, this is politics, and the ideals to which each individual values. Left = socialist values and increased government power to enforce their agenda. Right = individual freedom and less corrupt government officials with less power (the ideals on which this country, and ultimately democracy around the world was founded, by the way.)

- I agree that this is just another way the Democrats are expanding government power. Just wait ladies and gentlemen. This is only the beginning of expanding police power and injustice for all. I sure hope all you Obama supporters enjoy getting felt up by cops because this is what you voted for. The ironic part is that they are the ones that are more likely to have the "other issues" that are going to burn them in the end. Surprise.. your robin hood leader has his hands in your pockets too!

- What a waste.. Most wasteful and bigoted law in history. Cops kill more people and ruin more lives than pot ever will, mainly because of unethical laws like this. I guess they'd rather kids get drunk and sniff glue. Looks like the organization in charge of this operation will just have to stick with manufacturing methamphetamine, as it has a much higher profit margin, and its easier to hide.

- Maybe they should sacrifice more safety/quality in the name of filling more lazy union workers' garages with junk they don't need... Or maybe they should take on some more exorbitant legacy pensions so that arrogant jerks and their uneducated family can enjoy their 50 year old retirement in comfort for life; that every one else had to pay for by buying their crappy gas. Union NO! Independence YES!
