  9. Hammond should open up the dump for its citizens so they can get rid of the large trash that the city just can't seem to pickup themselves. And while they're at it, allow citizens to get asphalt patch to fix the potholes thay can't seem to fix. And then allow them to get trees to plant, also. Additionally, just have them report their water usage monthly and read the meters quarterly. We might just find out we can do with a lot of city services if allowed to do it ourselves.

  10. It's time for the public to start attending these meetings and be heard!!! Everyone interested in this should call their councilman and speak for or against this request. If enough voters make their will known, the council will act.
